The City School was established in Karachi, Pakistan in 1978. Since then, it has grown to become a national and international schools' organization of 152 branches in 43 cities with thousands of students and numerous teaching and non-teaching staff. While its Head Office is in Lahore, its Regional Offices support a network of branches throughout Pakistan and overseas situated in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Hyderabad and Dubai, Jeddah, and Dhakka.
The uniform implementation of the curriculum nationally and internationally gives parents, students, and teachers the advantage of transferring from one school to another within the system very efficiently. With its growing presence in new cities within Pakistan and abroad, The City School is continues to expand its reach to meet the demands for quality education. The City School imparts a British-oriented curriculum from the Nursery Level to Cambridge International Examinations Level for sixteen and eighteen years age group and qualifying them for the IGCSE, O-level, and A-level examinations yearly.

International Operation The City School has a well-established overseas School Development Program. Its first venture abroad was initiated in Dhakka, Bangladesh on the occasion of the City School's Silver Jubilee in 2002. At present, the City School has campuses in Dhaka, Dubai, and Jeddah. With the commencement of its overseas operation, the City School became the first premier international educational institution in Pakistan. Its future plans include the establishment of schools in the Arab States, South East Asia and Africa.
Curriculum & Academic Philosophy With its British-oriented curriculum from the nursery level to Cambridge International Examinations, graduates from The City School secure positions in top universities worldwide. Our students, according to Cambridge International Examinations annual results analysis, are amongst the highest achievers in their city, their country and, in some cases, in the world. The curriculum has been designed to encourage and challenge the child to use the power of intelligence to optimum capacity. The academic and non-academic curriculum are so designed that children who pass out of The City School have the ability to compete in every walk of life and to make a significant contribution to society.
The City School provides more than 120 courses each year across the age ranges and revises them in accordance with the cumulative experience of its teachers and pupils. Teachers are selected based on their experience as curriculum developers and syllabus writers. In addition, curriculum consultants from the UK are appointed on a regular basis to lead teams of The City School teachers in revising their curriculum and syllabuses.In The City School, we aim to provide quality in education to a large number of students.
